The Mediocre Gardener • Mistakes Welcome

The Mediocre Gardener makes gardening more approachable—helping everyday people grow with confidence through accessible plant education, practical guidance, and community partnerships.

Our work is grounded and fostered by the teachings and resources within the Xerces Society, National Wildlife Federation, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Audubon, Penn State Extension, Mt. Cuba Center, the USDA PLANTS Database, and Pennsylvania DCNR.
